Affetto, somatizzazione e simbolizzazione

The paper is based on clinical material originated in an analytical interaction with of a man who looked for analytical help after unusual previous graft rejections in two attempts of corneal transplantation, and the prospect of a new surgery. The state of reverie is shown as an important psychoanalytical tool, as well as transference and countertransference movements, which enable contact with deep levels of communication of mind-body configurations. Theoretical elements are discussed.
