Abstract
The article presents a reflection built around the interpretation that Jacques Lacan gives of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet in his VI Seminar – The Desire and its interpretation. The author, analyzing the main conceptual junctions that characterize the psychoanalyst’s reflection, emphasizes the relationship between desire and action and brings to light the itinerary that the desire of the protagonist of the piece must accomplish in order to promote an act subjectively assumed under the profile of ethics.
